Service Description

Asbestos training is required by federal and state regulations for workers who may come into contact with asbestos in the course of their duties.   1. Asbestos Awareness Training (2 hours)
    Required for custodial, maintenance, or other personnel who may work around, but not directly disturb, ACMs.
  2. Operations and Maintenance (O&M) Training (16 hours)
    Designed for maintenance workers who may disturb ACMs as part of their duties (e.g., drilling or cutting into materials).
  3. Asbestos Worker Training (32 hours)
    Required for those performing abatement activities, including removal, enclosure, and encapsulation.
  4. Asbestos Supervisor/Contractor Training (40 hours)
    For individuals who supervise asbestos abatement projects or manage on-site worker safety.
  5. Refresher Courses
    Annual refreshers are offered for each of the above categories to keep certifications up-to-date and ensure continuing compliance.
  6. Asbestos Management Planner (16 hours, Asbestos inspector Course is a Pre-requisite)
    For individuals who prepare management plans for facilities regulated under Louisiana and federal regulations.
  7. Asbestos Designated Person(2 hours)
    For individuals responsible for the oversight or implantation of management plans.
